Web soap “The Bay” has added even more of our favorite soap actors to its already star-studded cast.

The names include James DePaiva (ex-Max, “One Life to Live”), Brandon Beemer (Shawn, “Days of Our Lives”), Jessica Morris (ex-Jennifer, OLTL), Christopher Sean (Paul, DAYS), and Kevin Spirtas (ex-Craig, DAYS).

The cast of THE BAY is expanding, to include a slew of familiar soap names. James DePaiva (ex-Max, OLTL) joins the cast as Young Jack Madison, Brandon Beemer (Shawn, DAYS) will play Young Jack Blackwell, Jessica Morris (ex-Jennifer, OLTL) will play Young Kate Blackwell, DAYS’s Christopher Sean will play a correctional officer and Kevin Spirtas (ex-Craig, DAYS) will portray Pastor Nolan.

BACKSTAGE: ‘General Hospital,’ ‘The Bay: The Series’ Win Big at Daytime Emmys

Mary Beth Evans won two awards for acting last night. Evans nabbed her first Emmy in the lead actress category for her portrayal of Kayla Brady on “Days of Our Lives.” Evans also won for the digital daytime drama “The Bay: The Series.”

“The Bay: The Series” swept the digital daytime drama series categories winning both for Evans in the actress category, and Kristos Andrews in the actor category. Evans and Andrews are the first winners in the newly created slots for digital daytime dramas.

Evans and Andrews also won as part of the producing team for “The Bay: The Series,” which secured the Emmy for Outstanding Digital Daytime Drama Series following its victory last year for Outstanding New Approaches - Drama Series.

DAYTIME CONFIDENTIAL: Soap Stars Align at The Bay's Daytime Emmy Party (PHOTOS)


The cast of The Bay celebrated its Daytime Emmy nominations with a party on April 28 at Saint Felix Hollywood.  Soap favorites like  Jensen Buchanan, Tristan Rogers and Mary Beth Evans helped kick off daytime's biggest weekend.
