On Air | On Soaps recently spoke with THE BAY's Mary Beth Evans about her roles in front of and behind the camera on the show.

I think what is interesting about soaps is that as actors we all think we are going to have these jobs for 30, 40 or 50 years. But in reality, you can be let go, or killed-off, or dropped off a balcony, and you get so devastated about it. But that is really the actor’s life, and really the truth of it.
