As a “regular, normal kid” growing up in Los Angeles, Karrueche Tran didn’t have dreams of making it big in Hollywood. “It’s funny,” she reflects. “A lot of people grow up wanting to be an actress or a singer. I used to be kind of shy, so I never expected to get into acting.”

BRAVO: What's the Real Deal Behind An On-Screen Hookup?
Kristos Andrews stars as Pete Garrett on the digital drama series The Bay, where he gets to kiss his leading lady Karrueche Tran (yes, Chris Brown’s ex) on the regular.
“A kiss can feel quite real,” shares Kristos, who won a Daytime Emmy for his work in 2016 (we’re sure those realistic liplocks played a part). “I feel like any good actor who really cares about his work will fully commit himself to the kiss. So for the moment, you do feel sparks.”

MICHAEL FAIRMAN: Evans, Ashford, Melgar, Beemer, Lindstrom, Score Indie Series Award Nominations; The Bay Leads All Nods!
On Wednesday, nominations for the 8th Annual Indie Series Awards were announced. The ISAs celebrate the best in independently produced scripted entertainment created for the web. Nominations were revealed in 29 categories.
Some very familiar names received recognition including soap stars; Nicolas Coster, Jade Harlow, Lauren B. Martin, Brandon Beemer, Kevin Spirtas, Mary Beth Evans, Lilly Melgar, Carolyn Hennesy, Elizabeth Hubbard, Jon Lindstrom, and Patrika Darbo.
However, it was Gregori J. Martin’s The Bay which led all nominations scoring 21. The Bay along with The Amazing Gay! Pile bested the previous record of 13.
