SOAP OPERA DIGEST: INDIE SERIES AWARD NOMINEES ANNOUNCED

The nominations for the 8th Annual Indie Series Awards, which celebrate the best in independently-produced scripted entertainment created for the web, were announced today, and feature a host of familiar soap faces. THE BAY led the pack with 21 total nominations, and Mary Beth Evans (Sara, THE BAY; Kayla, DAYS), Matthew Ashford (Steve, THE BAY), Carolyn Hennesy (Diane, GH) and Patrika Darbo (Nancy, DAYS/Shirley, B&B) all got nods.
