TV SOURCE MAGAZINE: ‘THE BAY’ RECEIVES SECOND DAYTIME EMMY AWARD NOMINATION AND GEARS UP FOR SEASON

Martin, CEO and president of LANY Entertainment, is proud to announce The Bay The Series has been nominated by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) for its second Daytime Emmy Award in the extremely competitive Category – Outstanding New Approaches Drama Series.  The Bay was previously nominated in 2012 in the Outstanding Special Class Short Format Daytime Program category.  “The LANY team is deeply honored to receive our second Emmy nomination,” states Martin. “To just be in contention for the most coveted award in the television industry is a win in itself and we are ecstatic!”

MICHAEL FAIRMAN NEWS - SOAP BUZZ: NATAS Announces Presenters For 42nd Annual Daytime Creative Arts Awards!

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced today the presenters for the 42nd Annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards. “With two Daytime icons, Alex Trebek and Florence Henderson, as our hosts and Producer/Director Michael Gargiulo as our crafts lifetime achievement honoree, this year’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards will be an event that will inspire pride within the community!,” said David Michaels, Senior Vice President, Daytime.

In addition, presenters will include: John Tesh, Philippe Cousteau, Richard Wiese, Jessica Carleton, Leslie Carrara-Rudolph, Martha Byrne, Kristos Andrews, JD Roberto, Camila Banus, Vannessa Vasquez, as well as the evenings hosts, Florence Henderson and Alex Trebek.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Indie Series Awards and Daytime Emmys for indie soaps

On March 31, the National Academy of Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced nominees for the 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

Martin summarized, “Our team is very excited to be nominated for our second Emmy. As much as we’d love to take home the golden angel, this nomination is already a win not just for The Bay, but for all indie dramas online.”
