WE LOVE SOAPS: THE BAY WINS FANS CHOICE AWARD

We Love Soaps in Association with The SFN presented The 3rd Annual Indie Soap Awards on Tuesday, February 21 in a ceremony held in New York City. The Indie Soap Awards, or ISAs, strive to honor the very best in scripted, serialized programming for the web. This year, the nominees in several categories were divided into comedy and drama. From a pool of nominees that included both drama and comedy, THE BAY won the prestigous Fans Choice Award.

While home for the holidays, THE BAY's Adam Sabbagh (Dr. Kevin Hourani) talks about THE BAY on MTV Lebanon's 'TALK OF THE TOWN'. THE BAY The Series is first mentioned at 3 min 15 sec. and again at 5 min. 10 sec. A clip with unseen footage follows that includes a sneak peek at what's to come in the spring of 2012.

MTV was established in 1991 as a TV channel that sought to cater to the complexity and richness of its Lebanese viewers' identity by creating a balanced mix of local, Arab, and western media content, with a special emphasis on producing local programming that is tailored to its audience and reflects their aspirations and values.

Voting is now open for the "Fan's Choice Indie Soap of the Year" which will be announced at the 3rd Annual Indie Soap Awards ceremony on February 21. The 20 web series that received the most votes in 2011 in our weekly poll are eligible. Voting ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on February 13, 2012. THE BAY is among those nominated for "Fan's Choice Indie Soap of the Year."
